Initiatives - Richmond Hill’s Parking By Law Bursary Fund
Richmond Hill’s Parking By Law Bursary fund is working towards making Richmond Hill barrier free for all of its residents to enjoy.
The Parking by-law Bursary Fund has shown to be profitable for the Town of Richmond Hill, to date the fund has raised over $156,000. Through these funds the Town has purchased 2 accessible vans, exercise equipment located at one of the Towns fitness centers, redevelopment of Crosby Park and assisting residents in the Town of Richmond Hill in subsidizing the purchase of special needs equipment. The goal of this fund is to make Richmond Hill become Barrier Free! Have you ever wondered how to make your municipality barrier free? Where will the funds come from to do so?
